Next Stop: Canada – The Migration Fund

Hello everyone. I am raising funds for relocation.
I am currently living in Lagos, Nigeria and planning to move to Canada. I am very serious about relocating to Canada. It's the right choice. I know it is. This move will require alot of money which I am NOT getting with work savings, it's in the $25,000 range. It's, well, ALOT of money needed FAST.

Now to some details about my background, I am a serial entrepreneur and aircraft maintenance technician. I am also a very active self-developed coder with skills in SQL, HTML(5), CSS, JavaScript, Python, Ruby on Rails, and some of my previous web development work includes; www.wittykidschool.com and www.meerietnaturals.com I was the Organiser of Thrilltrips Meetup, Consul for InterNations Lagos Nightlife group comprising 341 members from 42 countries, Consul for InterNations Lagos Science and Technology group and Co-Organised Fun Circle Lagos House Party, 2016.

Last year in recognition of my roles as a tireless tech community builder, organiser and connector, I was recognised as a Web Summit Community Builder and was a special invitee to Web Summit 2016, in Lisbon, Portugal.

Some of my start-up ideas, included, REALYARD, a real estate equity and social infrastructure crowdfunding platform. The first of it's kind in Nigeria with a housing deficit of 17 million homes amounting to $173 billion. The idea is to connect investors with developers and lenders and bring a disruptive change to an industry by using technology to give access to investments that were previously available only to a select few.

I have had almost 11 years of experience in helicopter maintenance and servicing. Studied Aircraft Engineering Technology at Air Force Institute of Technology, Kaduna, Nigeria. Several other vocational and manufacturers type-training in Agustawestland A109E and AgustaBell AB206 helicopters, Avionics, and Aircraft Battery maintenance courses from schools I attended in Italy, South Africa and at Nigerian College of Aviation Technology, Zaria, Nigeria. Fluent and expert level in English, basic Italian, and very basic French.

I have applied for the Canadian Express Entry (Atlantic Immigration Pilot Project). Ideally I need to secure a valid employment offer before moving. Besides that, I will need to take IELTS and TEF language tests, Education Credential Assessment (ECA)
