The Newmarket Knicks u19 mixed Indoor Netball Team are the current national champions and are looking to win back-to-back titles in Lower Hutt this year. With the majority of this year's team new to the Nationals environment it should be an exciting campaign.

This year I am coaching the team by myself and we are currently placed at the top end in the Northern Region. The National Tournament runs from March 13-15 at Hutt Indoor Sports. Indoor Netball is the poorer cousin of the traditional game and relies on people 100% self funding, with many of the game's players coming from lower demographic areas.

Most of the players in our team are multi-talented and also excel in other areas of life and sport which places a huge strain on their family wallets. This includes u20 NRL carded athletes, NZ Sec. School Netball Players, Tall Ferns and Silver Ferns Training Partners. Some of our players will most likely be selected to represent NZ later in the year in Brisbane. In order to get our full squad to Nationals we really need financial help to get some of our players there!!

No matter how big or small, any donation would be majorly appreciated!! All proceeds will go towards the payment of accommodation, food, transport and entry fees for our team.

I plan to run the Panmure basin 3 times (approximately 10km),as a gesture of your kind support the Sunday before we go to Nationals. I am also seeking to find a couple prizes for the highest donations. Thank you in advance :)
