As you may be aware India has a population of roughly 1.2 billion. It's the 2nd most populous country behind only China. Despite having the 6th largest economy in the world it is still a country where the majority live below the bread line, barely surviving with further anguish from the lack of resources. Basic services from such as healthcare, infrastructure and education are either not available (in certain impoverished communities) or have not distributed equally (studies reveal that young girls disproportionately affected).

Newbeginnings is charitable trust (NCT) that uses fundraising initiatives to educate poor children who otherwise would become child laborer's. The Equal access campaign focus is on education to equip young girls with the tools needed to thrive,

• ensuring economic opportunity and social progress through increased independence.
• To bring about qualitative sustainable development changes in the life of a child, our education programs concentrate on early childhood education and primary level.

The real issue is, when a child is illiterate or has been forced into child labor, his/her generation remain poor and often so does the following generations.

By educating and empowering young girls we also aim to stop early marriage, trafficking and women being submissive and without a voice.

NCT primarily supports children of sex workers, orphans, daily wage laborer's and economically poor families. NCT is supporting children of Yanadi tribal communities to go to school. Children especially Girls, adolescent girls and women are given monthly health care and trained in personal hygiene.

As these children become adults, they will positively impact their families, communities and society at large.

We aim to break the cycle of poverty through education. This not only uplifts each child but allows entire families and communities to escape what one would consider modern day slavery.
