New Years in Bulgaria!

Hi there! My name is Thomas Francis, and I'm a junior at Champlain College in Burlington, VT. Last summer was the best summer I ever had. This is because of a group of Bulgarian folks that I met in here in Burlington. To be completely honest, they are nicest people I have ever met. They were calm, cool, passionate about their beliefs and actions. It was truly inspiring. Through all the time that I spent with them, I learned a lot about Bulgaria, and how cool it is. During their time here in the United States, we travelled around to different cities, and I showed them some of the "go to" tourist destinations. It was a blast! They pushed me to visit places that I've never visited before... I hardly leave vermont, so meeting them was truly a godsend.

Here's the thing... They invited me to visit them in Bulgaria for New Years, but with school, and other bills, I don't have enough money to go forward with what could be a spectacular trip to Eastern Europe.  I chose the end date of this fundraiser to be my birthday, hopefully this will be a great birthday present!
