I have the idea of a new design of the vaccine against the virus ... !!! This arose after doing my research work in my graduate studies. I worked with polyclonal antibodies obtained in rabbits and confronted them against different wild genotypes of the virus. I also checked the immunoassay for bioinformatics.
I require for the execution of the project $ 75,000 that will be destined for the purchase of three high performance laptop that require the programs of structural analysis, purchase of molecular visualization software, purchase of scientific articles, and salary of 3 researchers together with my person. one year (in which it is estimated to obtain the design by bioinformatics). Once the design was obtained, the project would go on to a second stage of production and testing of the vaccine in animals in the laboratory.
This is the beginning of the development of a high impact project. Current vaccines against HPV only protect against a quarter of existing mucosal genotypes. This new design aims to generate by bioinformatics a vaccine that is reactive against all types of mucosal HPV, considering the immunological regions in the design by bioinformatics.
