New Teeth Can Save a Life

Hello. My name is Robert. I am not someone to ask for help unless I am in extreme need. So, let me give you some of my back story leading to this endeavor.

I grew up in a family that had old fashioned beliefs. I was almost not born due to severe complications to a mother who was already in the change of life. I was her Miracle. I spent my life living with my parents and they raised me up to be a gentleman and an all around good guy. As I got older, so did they and they began having health problems.

I took care of them after I got old enough to. They needed me and they deserved my care as much as they cared for me as I grew up (they have since passed). In 2008 (if I remember correctly), I experienced the worst 3 weeks of my life, at that point in time.

I started to get a bad toothache. It started like any other toothache, then things just went downhill from there. As the time went on, it just kept getting worse. (My parents were both low income and retired with only my father's Social Security and my mother's Disability to support us because they asked me to please stay home and care for them as their health continued to deteriorate.) I could not afford to go to the dentist. I spent about 2 out of the 3 on the couch, unable to eat or drink much of anything and eventually having to be forced to drink something.

My mother had finally realized that this would not get any better and she called the family's regular dentist, who called in a prescription for antibiotics. Thankfully, he was able to take me as a walk-in and allowed us to make arrangements for payment.

As soon as the dentist saw what I had going on in my mouth, he asked his assistant to please let the other patients know he would be with them as soon as possible, but that my mouth was a major priority.

It turned out to be a major abcess that was poisoning my system to the point of almost killing me. He told me that if I had waited just a couple of days longer, I might not have made it because the poison had moved through my system and could have potentially gotten to my heart and killed me.

I had grown so weak that I could not argue anything. He was able to save my life on that day, but he has recently made it clear that if I do not have my teeth pulled SOON, that I could be facing much worse. He even mentioned that he would not normally tell someone that at 29 years old, but it has become necessary. I have an oral disease that causes my teeth to rot out no matter how much I might brush, floss and rinse.

Although I have been working at my current job since I moved from my late parents home, I cannot afford or get the assistance needed to get all of them removed. I have tried and tried, but I either make too much at my job or do not qualify for some other unknown reason. My current job offers benefits, but they will not cover this for over a year's wait. I may not have that long.

I am asking for donations to get this taken care of before it takes me to the point of no return. Please find it in your heart to help. I will pay it forward as soon as I get back on my feet and back t work after the surgery.
