There is a small school in rural Pursat, Cambodia that needs your help! It was started by two determined Cambodian Americans who saw the need to step in when the director of the students' previous school took their tuition and ran off with it. With their education robbed, Dara and Ricky Ke intervened and continued the students' education by starting their own school at their home in early 2015. There is no pressure for the students to pay a fixed tuition every month because they come from poor backgrounds. At their new school, they learn how to read, write and speak in basic to intermediate English.
My family and I visited the school last year and were able to provide a few supplies to the 30-35 students, but they and their teachers need and deserve more. Therefore, we are reaching out to YOU to help us fund for:
- safe and better school infrastructure
- learning and reading books
- essential school supplies: pens, pencils, erasers, paper, etc.
- fun art kits for creativity
- snacks and small meals
- uniforms and new shoes
We hope that you will donate to our campaign and with each donation, a photo and a personalized message will be sent to you! Please share with your family and friends. Thank you!
