New Mower @Share The Love

We are looking to find a better solution to cut the grass of our property. The property of Share The Love Foundation has the size of about 4 rai / 1.6 acres / 0.65 ha. It is mostly grass, not nice flat lawn, and it grows fast.

Our old push mower is almost 7 years old. It served us well, but it is not really designed for what we use it. The metal body is tearing apart. I welded it many times. It’s not mainly because of rust, it’s just not strong enough. There are other things that should be replaced: wheels, bearings and the hight adjustment. Last year, we had to replace the engine (with the one from our old mower that fell apart 7 years ago). In higher grass it takes quite an effort to push through, since the mower is not self propelled.

Recently, we got another push mower that is more powerful but also quite heavy to work with.

For the future, we are looking for a riding mower. They are quite expensive, not something we can easily afford. We haven't decided yet on the model. Here are two possibilities. The Orec (Japan) and Grillo (Italy) models that can handle higher grass easily.
