New Low Cost Telephone Service
In order to create a better future, we need to communicate. And we need to create jobs. In Telecoms we can do both.
Having worked in the Telecoms industry since 1999, over the years I have written software and designed systems, processing payments worth millions and processing data for thousands of field agents. Over time I created effective ways to deal with large amounts of data and was even recently approached by Amazon to consider a permanent position.
I invested a considerable sum to get coached by top professionals in the field of marketing and business management. Safe to say I have invested in excess of R200,000 in my training to date, and I am still learning daily, as it is my passion and hobby.
I am a MySQL database administrator, a web designer, social media marketing specialist and work with eCommerce platforms like Shopify and WooCommerce. I design in Wordpress and I am able to interface with a large variety of CRM and other systems using the Zapier platform. For the payment gateway I would like to use Stripe, and in order to do that I need to register a company in Delaware. This costs a minimum of $500 plus running costs.
The plan is to a) offer an automated prepaid recharge service to thousands of people using low cost phones, and to provide low cost phone calls on those phones, and b) to create a base of thousands of agents who could sell the phones on an ongoing basis and create income for themselves and their families.
I have identified the operators who can provide those services and they have the exact services I require in order make the project a success. In order to have the phones branded with the project logo we need to order a minimum of 1000 units. The phones cost $22.50 a piece, but if we order 1000 we can get them for $12.50 each. Thus the goal is to go for 1000 units. This will only be the start and we will need to purchase several thousands of units in the long term.
Agents will generate R300 profit per sale, and need to do 10 sales per month to generate a basic income of R3000 per month. With 1000 phones we can create jobs for 100 people, and help 1000 people to communicate more cost effecive.
Also required is a USSD portal through which customers can buy additional airtime to top-up their phones and an eCommerce website to facilitate sales and support for customers and agents. The website will cost around R50,000 to develop. I have identified all the components and will be able to put them together once funding has been obtained.
I look forward to your response and making the project a success.
Without your assistance this project will not be possible, and I want to thank you in advance for every donation no matter how small.
I have started a trial of the project and to date I have signed up 50 agents who are interested to sell the phones. I have also recorded feedback from clients using the service and they are very satisfied with the service.
I have four incredibly valuable artworks that I will give to the top four donors, should the goal be reached. These are sure to become worth a fortune over time. Art gains value over the years and for example a rare Tretchikoff sold for R21 million (£982 050), three times over the estimate, at Bonhams in London in 2013.
If you are living in South Africa you will be able to order a phone and make use of our low cost service once the service starts. We will keep you informed at all times regarding the progress.
Should you be so kind as to make a donation now, you will be rewarded with a significant discount on the phones and airtime once it becomes available
I thank you for your support and wish you a lovely day. Pieter J. Sadie
