New laptop needed

Hello to all backers out there, my name is tom and i need your help. I'm not exactly great with these kinds of things so I'll try to keep this brief, basically my old 7 year laptop is on it's way out it has about 20% battery left but it no longer charges as something inside the charger port area is broken and I can hear something moving around when I pick it up. Now the problem is I have a lot of my college assignments and files on this laptop and while i have most of them transferred to a usb I still need to continue working on them from home. My old laptop has served me well but now it's time to move forward, i don't need anything too fancy just a basic low end laptop will do. I need your help for this small cause, I know it's not a very important one compared to others but any help you can give will be greatly appreciated.

Paypal is preferred only because the sooner I reach my goal the sooner I can get back to my assignments that's why I made this a short funding time. I hope that will suffice I was meant to keep this brief whoops.
