New laptop for work and education purposes

Hello, I am really aware that the reason for my fundraiser page is very selfish, but hear me out. I have owned one laptop for the past four years, it has done it’s duty and is now hard to use. Why, you may ask? This is due to the fact that it has acquired damage through time. From what I have understood from the technician I have consulted with, the keyboard is no longer functional and the charging port and battery itself is severly damaged. When I inquired as to fixing the laptop, the techician advised to me that mayhaps buying a new laptop would be better.

Now this poses a problem since 1) laptops are expensive 2) I am just a student with no jobs as of the moment & 3) my parents cannot bear to use the money they have to buy ke one since all of it is to be spent on my brothers’ and my education as well as their daily expenses. I usually use my laptop for school projects, however, I usually use it for the freelancing jobs I get in the internet to at least ease the burden from my parents’ shoulders. Jobs that I currently am putting on hold and losing due to my current predicament.

I am really hoping that you guys are kind enough to lend a hand, any amount will do. Given the fact that I am also debating on which laptop to buy (quality over pricing), I opted to leave the amount limit open. However, I will close/stop the campaign/fundraiser by the end of this year in preparation for the next school year
