New kidney for a new life 🍃

On Jan. 6, 2020, my father, Melencio V. Malabanan (58 yo), was rushed to National Kidney and Transplant Institute (NKTI) due to his pre-existing medical condition, Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) secondary to Diabetic Kidney Disease. We found out that it already progressed to its end stage (Stage 5). He had difficulty of breathing and edema on his legs. We thought we will lose him that day, but thank God he made it and is now back at home since Jan. 10, 2020.

However, in order for my father to recuperate his health, he needs to undergo Hemodialysis 3-4 times weekly. My family is doing the best we can to cover all the medical expenses. But, we still need help so we could consistently secure my father's Hemodialysis. Doctors also advised to undergo Kidney Transplant. However, this procedure costs around 1.2M - 2M. This is our only hope to make sure we can live with him for a longer time.
