Hello my friends,
My name is Luat and I am 28 years old. I live in Vietnam, a beautiful country with stunning landscape (Son Doong, Ha Long Bay or Nha Trang Beach), rich history, culture and it is located in Southeast Asia.
Currently, I'm doing a community project called: UCS Community Project.
UCS Community Project is a community project founded by Hanh Trinh Gom (Collection Journey). UCS is a space where participants will reduce the pressure, fatigue during stressful working times, find valuable values that they can contribute to the community and connect with energetic friends, connect with nature and aim for human, core and sustainable values in society through annual events organized by the UCS Community Project. And the series of community events are held weekly in Saigon, corresponding to 4 monthly events, with different sizes and modes of operation. But they all have a common goal: Bring positive value to the community.
- Collecting Day
- Wandering Day
- Tám Talkshow
- A Sharing Fair
And this time back to Saigon, I plan to stay here for 1 year with only one purpose, which is for the UCS Community Project.
You know, I've been on the Hanh Trinh Gom ( Collection Journey) for 1 year and 5 months now, I quit my job, used up all my savings and even the support from friends to cycle around Vietnam to pick up trash, support local community, and share kind stories throughout Hanh Trinh Gom (Collection Journey). And I also turned down the good jobs that invited me throughout the Hanh Trinh Gom (Collection Journey) to pursue bigger goals: to support community more and create values, more positive and sustainable.
Of course, I will still be fine with myself, I can sleep in tents, sleep in temples, sleep in churches so that I can do the Hanh Trinh Gom (Collection Journey), to do other good things.
But when I return to Saigon, with another project: thee UCS Community Project, things are much more complicated. You know, in Saigon there are a lot of expenses to take care of.
And without your support, I will of course have to find a full-time or part-time job when I return to Saigon, which means that I cannot devote 100% of my energy to implementing the Community Project. UCS coin. And the failure rate of UCS, even the Hanh Trinh Gom is something that has a very high probability of happening.
But with your support, it is exactly: $3000 is the total amount of money I can survive in Saigon within my 6 months, including house rental free, food and other small expenses: gas, vehicles... And activities of the UCS Community Project. I can focus 100% of my energy on both: Hanh Trinh Gom and the UCS Community Project.
I am not sure how great the success of UCS will be in the future, but one thing I know is that with your support, UCS Community Project will create a lot of positive values for the community.
And not only that, my goal is that after at least 1 year, I, UCS and my teammates can live and develop through grants, CRS programs or traditional partnerships. pine. UCS can then expand into other areas of the community: Farmer support, community libraries and afforestation. This is a long and sustainable path!
Sincerely thank you for your companionship and support for me, for the UCS Community Project.
