New House

Hi Everyone, I realise that most fundraisers are for something that people usually have sympathy for such as an illness in the family but our daily situation is becoming quite difficult and soon I don't know how we will manage. Our story started last year when I became pregnant with twins, I had a very difficult pregnancy and spent most of it in bed and in hospital. At eleven weeks one of the twins' placenta started to detach and then at five months my cervix started to shorten. The twins were born by emergency c-section at 27 weeks and spent 3 months in intensive care. Despite all of the stress and worry we have been very lucky and now have two beautiful babies who are doing well. Our problems are connected to our house. We live on the 4th floor without a lift, this means that I have been carrying the babies up and down the stairs. Now the babies are getting heavier and heavier and a month ago I bent over to pick one of them up and was unable to stand up again. I have been diagnosed with a hernia of the spine and due to this the only time I am able to leave the house with the children is when my husband is able to help me. Due to the problems with the pregnancy we weren't able to think about our housing before and now we find ourselves in this situation and we don't have any savings to help us move. No bank will give us a mortgage without a deposit and the rents where we live are very high. if anyone could see it in their hearts to help us we would be extremely grateful.
