Kelab Kembara Musafir Kedah (KKMK) is finding and creating new hiking and climbing routes as well as upgrading the existing ones on Bukit Kodiang @ MokCun, Bukit Keplu and Bukit Hantu in Kodiang, Kedah.
Our aim is to solve/minimize issues related to safety during hiking/climbing and vandalism and to develop these sites for tourism and sport activities for local and international users. Kodiang is located near to Malaysia/Thailand border, thus becomes a suitable transit place for Malaysian and Singaporean who want to visit Thailand.
We need tools and materials such as climbing equipment, portable chainsaw, generator, tents and ropes. At present we have 4 volunteers, novice climbers who have passion to carry out the tasks. We, however, need to upgrade our skills and require professional training. Our activities and expenditure of the fund will be published in "Kelab Kembara Musafir Kedah" facebook page (click on the link).
