“Spare some change, to make a change”

This self-funded project needs your help. after a life of hard work, we Retired in a small village in Bulgaria. The village is quite small, however it is on its way up. The residents have never been given the opportunity to explore the arts. We have been made so welcome and have received much help from the people in the community in setting up our home and now we want your help to give something back. Our Mission is to rebuild this small house in order to create a small artist studio where children and elderly members of the local community can gather and learn how to draw, paint, and most importantly have FUN!

With your help and funding we intend to run monthly art sessions for the local community and surrounding areas. Your money will help us rebuild / repair a small house, that is near the centre of the village and transform it into a small artist studio. your money will also go towards art supplies for the project. As well as fund the construction of 4 dog kennels, that during the summer months will help raise funds for the project to continue running (e.g., paying for art supplies). Our aim is to become self-funding so we can continue to run these sessions and with your help now we can make this dream a reality.

Once we have the funding, the project will take around 3 months to complete. with the construction of the building itself as well as the fitting of the facilities needed for the project to run ( e.g., toilet facilities , tables, WIFI and storage for supply’s)

The benefits of art on young minds are countless, from supporting fine Motor skills to helping them understand themselves and the world around them. It can help them build connections with each other, leading to lifelong friendships. As parents of a child pursuing an artistic career, we have a huge understanding and appreciation for what a little bit of paint can do. Starting young may inspire these children to take a more artistic approach in life or maybe just have some FUN!

We want to do this as members of the community. We feel this small act has the potential to not only bring joy and Creativity in into the lives of the children but also bring this small community together.
