Our Landrover has broken down. Bath Hunt Saboteurs were out in the south of Devon on Saturday, on our way to support sabs from South Devon Animal Rights who were recently violently attacked by the Dart Vale and Southpool Harriers.

We were travelling in a convoy with South Wales Sabs, Bristol Hunt Sabs, Severn Vale Sabs, Devon County Sabs and Dorset Sabs when our gearbox went. We cannot sab without our vehicle. Our group has recently been expanding with many new members who are really keen to get back in the field and gain experience, we need to get our vehicle fixed up ASAP.

As one of the oldest groups in the country, going since 1965, it’d be a massive disappointment if we were off the road for any period of time. So we’re asking anyone who wants to help us keep saving wildlife to donate towards the new gearbox that we urgently need. A new gearbox will cost at least £600, possibly up to £1300, but we’re being optimistic!

We save the lives of hunted foxes and hares each week using non-violent direct action; including using the hunting horn and voice calls to call hounds away from hunted animals and harmless citronella spray to mask their scent. Our methods are both safe and effective.
