Hi, my name is Emilia and I am currently on a very important mission to help out my 19 years old musically talented sister Julia.

This year she accomplished second degree music school and received a diploma in clarinet with A grade.

She is a passionate clarinet player who this year got accepted to the Music Academy in Gdansk, Poland, as one of the only three candidates that were accepted in this academic year. She received the highest amount of points!

Her dream was about to come true but she had to give it up before she even started as we realised that we won't make it financially, especially that her clarinet cracked in a manner that makes it almost unusable.

We will have to buy a new one( the cause of the damage is that she played on the streets to gather the funds for the studies).

Julia’s education is entirely dependent on my income as we cannot count on our parents support.

We are a family of three women and a bunch of animals (who unfortunately don’t contribute too much :)) Our mom leaves in Poland and is unable to work for health reasons. This makes myself be the only source of income for the entire family.

Julia is originally from Poland but to be able to chase her dream she joined me in Ireland (where I have lived for last 7 years)  to look for a job. After 10 weeks of active seeking for a any kind of employment (and by that I mean restless constant running through city, dropping about a gazillion of CVs, applying to anything possible) we came to realisation that finding a job being a 19 years old, inexperienced, and having little English even though full of enthusiasm and motivation, is practically impossible.

Out of anxiety that we won’t make it in time, and exhaustion of ideas I decided to ask for help.

Julia's life goal for now is to raise the money for new instrument so that she can continue growing the talent she got. We are running out of time as she will be coming back to Poland in April to start the preparation for the entrance exams in April 2014, hoping that by then I will manage to raise the funds.

Julia is currently playing on Buffet E11 that after last damage was described by a specialist who temporarily fixed it, as “this one is ready to go to the bin”.

I cannot express how much gratitude we would have for any kind of support.

From my part I can offer little gifts for our supporters. I run an etsy shop where I sell handmade by myself clothes and jewelry. I will be more than happy to pay back for generous donors, with the things that I make in my free time.

For a donation of 30.00 USD I will send you a pair of awesome handmade arm warmers, perfect for winter! (any color combination you want)

Please visit the shop to see if you would like to receive anything in return for your generousity. Also feel free to purchase directly from there. Please send me an email letting me know that the purchase is for Julia’s purpose and I will put these funds aside for our cause.

Your help is meaningful and truly appreciated! We both tank you for stepping by and any little help.

All the best!

Julia & Emilia
