Emily was born on 4th March 2021 with multiple heart defects(VSD, blocked arteries, enlarged heart). She was also born small and 2.02kg at 37 weeks of gestation. She is currently in NICU and has so far survived on intensive care with some medication to help her heart function. She is now breathing on her own but will still need to be in NICU until her weight reaches at least 2.5kg. She is currently feeding via a tube to her stomach as she is still not able to suck or drink milk by herself. Doctors have informed that she will need to be in NICU for at least a period of 1 month. She is currently admitted at the Phyathai 2 Hospital in Bangkok which is where she was also born. Due to this we were informed that her cost might go up to THB 500,000 which we are not able to bear after exhausting our funds to pay for birth via C-section and other related medical costs.
