Hi everyone! I am Dessa Jill Jovelo from Manapla, Negros Occidental, Philippines. I am the niece of Analyn and Jonathan "Toto" Jovelo who were one of the victims of the fire incident that happened last February 15, 2019 at around 2 am in the morning at the Manapla Public Market. During the incident, my uncle and his wife were inside their store sleeping when suddenly they realized that the public market was caught by a huge fire. They immediately called the attention of the fire department and hurriedly went outside their store. They were both nervous and afraid that they panic and forget to bring some stocks that they can save from the fire. Unfortunately, the fire was able to burn all of their supplies and nothing was left in just a snap. As of this moment, nothing was left to them. All of their dreams were gone. They were very dependent on the business for it was their only source of living. It is where they get the money to send their children to school and also their daily needs in life. With this, I am using this site to be a platform in helping them to start all over again because this is the only way that I could think of in helping them. I hope that you will help us. I guarantee that your help will really go to them. Let us be the the start of light that will bring hope to them. Someone who will prove to them that despite of the tragedy that happened, there is still chance to start all over again. That nothing is impossible if we help each other. I want to let them feel that they are not alone in this battle and that this is just another challenge in their life. Hoping that you can help me with this. Thank you very much and God speed!
