New Australian TV Pilot (Crime Thriller): Beyond Truth

"Beyond Truth" is an original TV series devised, written, directed and produced by Montanna Dowden. This is an Australian - based crime thriller which already has a decent following.

Synopsis:

"Katherine McCallister has everything going for her. The life of a celebrity. A faithful partner. Thousands of adoring fans. Her life seems picture perfect, little does she know her life is about to come crashing down."

This series is being created by a dedicated group of actors and filmmakers with a passion for delivering quality entertainment and making something amazing while also supporting local talents. We will be looking into funding from local organisations once pilot is filmed as well as distribution with networks and also submitting to festivals.

Featuring some of Queensland's best talents: Racheal Leigh, David Austin, Erin Christmas, Tiarna Abbott and Arielle Cartwright.

Experienced Crew which includes Calder Fenwick, Matt Wollaston, Phillip Paton and Nic Dunning.

All cast and crew on this production are volunteering their time to be involved with this production that we are all passionate about. However, as with most film productions, there are costs involved and funding can be extremely hard to source.

We are now hoping to seek donations and/or sponsors to help get this project off the ground by covering some of our costs.

These are the initial projected costs for our pilot episode:

• Filming Location Costs: $700
• Props/Costuming: $350
• Hair/Makeup Department: $350
• Armourer Costs: $600

Due to the locations we need, there are costs involved. As we need an apartment for the lead character, who is a celebrity, and unable to find one suitable we have to use an apartment complex (which quoted us $250). Also due to the nature of weapons being involved, an armourer is needed on set which also comes at a price.

We have set our goal at $2000 for our pilot episode which we are hoping to film in the coming months.
