WHO I AM

I am a 60 year old male with Type 2 diabetes and advanced neuropathy, and one step from being homeless. Although I was a successful in my career, two divorces have left me broke and close to being homeless.

WHY I NEED FUNDING

Neuropathy causes extreme pain in the far extremities (hands and feet) along with total numbness. Although I am currently taking medication to help with the pain (Lyrica) most nights sleeping is difficult due to this pain and numbness. At night when your entire body is meant to be quiet neuropathy is sending false pain signals to the brain. These false signals (neuropathy effect) make my extremities burn without heat or extreme cold. However one thing does knock me out and helps normal sleep and that is cannabis.

WHAT I WISH TO DO WITH MY FUNDING

My desire is to move to California, go to Oaksterdam University and learn how to best grow cannibis. I live in a state that does not allow medical marijuana treatment, not to mention that possession of cannabis is also illegal in my state. So my project allows me to move to Oakland California and attend Oaksterdam University and help myself and hopefully get a job in this industry and help others.

THANK YOU

Thank you for your consideration and I hope you can help make my project come to fruition.
