Hello dear benefactors!

I am writing to you with a request to help my daughters Amelie in paying treatment!

My husband and I always wanted a second child, but two pregnancies in a row turned out to be unsuccessful. After a lot of research and desperation, we were very happy when we learned that we were having a girl! The pregnancy went well without toxicosis. I am sure that my daughter was given to me by God as a gift.

My daughter was born on August 27, 2018. When she was two months old, her hemoglobin began to drop. The doctors calmed me down and said that this happens. At four months, there was another version - just teething.

When Amelie was already seven months old, her temperature began to rise and hold for weeks at 98,6-101 ° F. Nothing worked . My daughter stopped playing, crawling, her appetite disappeared. She could only sleep on my chest or arms. Most of all we were concerned about the swelling of the leg.

My husband and I constantly called the doctor at home, went to the hospital ourselves, but they only said to us: "It's okay." However, maternal feelings told me that something serious was happening to the child.

At ten months, Amelie began to sleep a lot, from any food she was nauseous and vomited, hemoglobin continued to fall and reached 70 g / l, the norm being 110 g / l. Then the daughter was urgently taken to the hospital, where a long search for the cause of this state of the daughter began. Doctors suspected leukemia, so Amelie received blood transfusions three times. For five months we could not establish the cause of the drop in hemoglobin and as a result, numerous tests, anesthesia, bone marrow puncture ... In November 2019, Amelie was diagnosed with a terrible diagnosis: “Neuroblastoma of the left adrenal gland, stage 4 with metastatic lesions of the bones of the skeleton, bone marrow, head of the pancreas, membranes brain".

From that moment on, our life turned upside down. To say that we were shocked, scared and confused is to say nothing. The earth was slipping away from under my feet, and the questions spun in my head: “How? For what? Why?" It was especially difficult for my husband to accept this, he needed the help of a psychotherapist. Nevertheless, we pulled ourselves together for the sake of our daughter.

For more than a year we have been struggling with this terrible diagnosis. Amelie removed 98% of the tumor along with the left adrenal gland. Also, my daughter went through seven blocks of chemotherapy with all its side effects in the form of constant nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, a drop in hemoglobin, platelets, leukocytes ... Nevertheless, our daughter survived everything, underwent radiation therapy - There are still many challenges ahead ...

Every time I look at her, I cry. But we can handle it and continue to fight!

Amelie is growing up as an inquisitive child. Loves to watch educational programs about the world and animals on his tablet, and also play toys . She is affectionate and sociable with me. One nurse once said that this is how the characters of one cartoon talk.

My husband left me, decided to start a new life, but I have to hold on for my daughter!

The doctor offered to go to Israel for treatment, they have good practice and results, but the cost is very high, I raised money, but it is still not enough of them. Every day everything is complicated. We ask for help from all caring people and ask for help for our daughter! Without your kind heart, we cannot defeat this insidious disease! Help us, please! We will certainly repay you with the same in time!

Best regards, Amelie mom,Hailey Wilson.
