Netherlands and Belgium Hockey Tour for Busizwe Duba

I love hockey. Where most people see it as "just a sport", I found love.

I started playing hockey in 2015 in grade 8 and back then I never would have thought I would even come close to anything like this.

During the Easter holidays at the Menlo Park Top Schools SA hockey tournament I had the honour and privilege of playing against some of the best South African hockey players in my age group. At this tournament I was awarded 'goalkeeper of the tournament' and just when I thought it couldn't get any better, I was selected as part of the 15 man all star team that would be taking part in an invitational hockey tour to the Netherlands and Belgium.

The cost of this tour is R42000 and despite my mother's hard work and commitment we have only been able to pay R10000. Applying for this funding is my last lifeline in pursuing a dream that is showing itself to be very close to reality.
