Neri’s fight with a failing heart

In behalf of Neri, we would like to extend our most heartful thanks for all that have partook with her battle with her failing heart. It has been a tough and challenging journey but my sister has fought well, has tough us to be strong amidst the hardship. She has shown how good is she and that earned her her wings and has flown to her new home in heaven where there is no more pain and will rest peacefully with our creator. Thank you all.

She is my sister Neri, short for Nerissa. would like to reach out to everyone's good heart to help us to get her through her operation to have a Mitral Valve Replacement.

She had been diagnosed with RHD(rheumatic heart disease) during her college days. It was manageable before but this has caused her to missed a lot on living a normal life that even having a full time job or trying to do adventures even just a single hike. She have loved life so much that she wants to cherish and live it so even if we won't approve, she still went and tried working. She had been working in a legal fiscal office for quite some time, she have a lot of dreams for our family, she had been a great mamita (mom-aunt) to my other sister's adorable sons while working abroad. It all went crazy after catching a bad cough one rainy afternoon going home from work. This bad flu got the better of her heart and started to get weak and has triggered her heart to fail. We had been in the ICU 3x for the last 6 months and though she really is fighting for it, her heart is getting weaker and weaker. Our last hospitalization has revealed that her heart is no longer pumping blood sufficiently and her liver has been calling an emergency, retaining fluids and developed acites and fluid in her lungs. The doctor has told us that if we cannot get her heart operated, liver and kidneys will soon be damaged and fail too. She needs an immediate Mitral Valve Replacement as she is already experiencing Cardiogenic Shock secondary to RHD.

I would like to request for some financial support for her operation and recovery as she really wants to regain her live and cherish it more. She is turning 37 in a few minutes as I'm writting this. I wish her another shot at life. I'm pleading on your generous hearts to help my sister fight this battle with her failing heart. Thank you!
