Nepal Women’s Education

Friends and family, I am starting a fundraiser since I will be setting out in September to volunteer on a Women's Education Program in Kathmandu, Nepal. We will be providing women of age 16-55 with a grade 10 equivalent education. As well as new skills and technology. The Nepalese women are eager to learn and grow so that they may have equal opportunities to support themselves and their families. When they can provide for their families by means of education and skills it initiates women's empowerment and confidence. Their education is crucial to the economic growth and development of Nepal. These women are very committed to learning and I am committed to helping and learning from them in whatever way I can. I will be traveling for 4 weeks while living with a Nepalese host family that will be treating me like family, between accommodations and meals. The impact we can have simply from our own homes now is incredible, if we can get out there even better. I would appreciate any support if you can to help in achieving these goals. We all have the opportunity to make an impact with the moments we have. As humanity generates these positive moments of impact we will continue to grow collectively as a human race. Women's Education in general is very important and not as readily available or freely given in some countries still. Let's help change that. Nepal has a special place in my heart and I know these women are eager to blossom into who they are meant to be.
