Nepal Orphanage Volunteering

As of the 15th June I will be travelling 5000 miles away to Nepal! Aside from the fact that I've always wanted to visit this beautiful country, I shall be spending most of my time there volunteering in an orphanage for children who just don't have the luxuries that we are used to in the UK.

I've started this fundraising page because although I will be giving 4 weeks of my time to the people I meet in Nepal, there are certain things that my time and hard work can't give! The orphanage that I will be volunteering at receives its only support from the kindness of donations, therefore, I feel it is important that I can leave something of value behind that will help the children and the staff long after I have gone.

I plan to pay for all of the aspects of my trip myself, be it hundreds of pounds for flights to Kathmandu! Or £10 on hundreds of bottles of hand sanitiser and mosqutio repellent...

Even if I only manage to raise £10 (1500 Nepalese Rupees!), that could give me enough money to buy some colouring books and pencils to leave for the children.

Anything you can give would be greatly appreciated by myself and by the people I meet in Nepal :)
