Help “Nene” Jareño’s family ease burden of Covid medical expenses and funeral costs

Hi friends, family and kind-hearted souls checking out this campaign. My name is JayJay Cruz, I'm starting this contribution for the family of my best friend's dad, German "Nene" Jareño.

Despite taking all the precautions and while waiting to receive his second vaccination, Tito Nene, as he was fondly called, contracted Covid-19. He was admitted on Sept 7, 2021 at Metro Bacolod Hospital and Medical Center. He went through covid treatment which included monoclonal antibodies, hemoperfusion, ventilator support, hemodialysis. He put up a good fight and showed signs of recovery. Unfortunately, he succumbed to the ravages of the virus and passed away on Sept 20, 2021.

Filipinos have a unique and practical way of showing sympathy and assistance to the family and kin of those who passed away. The custom of giving financial donations or "abuloy" is one way we can help ease the emotional and, more importantly, the financial stress and burden that the grieving family is experiencing.

Let us do that for Tita Brenda, loving wife of Tito Nene and the Jareno family. Give as your heart dictates. And because of Covid restrictions, there will not be a wake for us to be able to give tribute to Tito Nene and offer words of encouragement to the family, pls do send a personal message to them too.
