Need Your Help To Exist

I truly need your help.MY stroke came in 2017, leaving me 70% disabled.I broke my hand in a fall two weeks ago.I just got out of Memorial Hospital two days ago to have a tumor removed on my right foot.So now I must remain in bed most of the time, needing assistance to get up, sit down…most everything.

I can’t dress myself, shower myself (I must be cleaned in bed), cook for myself, put on clothes or shoes without assistance…for a minimum of six weeks The doctors say my hand and foot should recover in six to eight weeks, after which I shouldn’t need 24-hour care.I’m afraid to be alone at night should there be any kind of emergency and I can’t get out of bed.(no, this is not a request for the ladies to be with me at night, ha!)

There are even more personal hygiene matters I won’t discuss here.

I pay my current aide $20 per hour to take care of me for two hours three days a week.She has other clients so she can’t give me more time.Agencies charge $25 to $30 per hour.I am in urgent need of the money for 24-hour care for at least six weeks.Insurance (Humana) won’t pay for this service.It will cost me over $16,000 if all goes well.
