Need Your Help For My Neuropsychology Master Degree at Maastricht

Hello! My name is Çağla Subaşı and I'm 28 years old. I'm a cat lover who desires to be a Neuropsychologist. I am very proud to say that I am accepted to the MSc Psychology: spec. Neuropsychology programme at Maastricht University, Netherlands.

However, my and my family's economic situation is not enough to cover the institutional fee and the living expenses. That's why I need your help to pay those expenses. Institutional fee is requested from me in total before the start of the program. I believe that my excellent academic record, experiences and personal activities would make me a good candidate for this master program. Since it offers an ideal bridge between my academic experiences and my future aspirations, this master program offers a great deal for me.

As an academic background, I won the national university exam by being ranked in the top 0.4%. As a result, I was awarded a 100% scholarship which allowed me to study in one of the most successful universities in Turkey. I achieved a bachelor’s degree in two majors, Psychology (GPA: 3.31/4) and Sociology (GPA: 3.06/4). As part of the Erasmus program, I studied a half year at School of Psychology, University of Padova which is recognized as the best university in Italy for research quality. I studied my majors in %100 English and also I completed German and Spanish lessons as elective courses.

I am particularly fascinated by the brain. Even the smallest contribution that can help people who have had a stroke or brain trauma would make me very happy. I am curious about cognitive processes, the functioning of neurons and the resulting human behavior as a field of research. Furthermore, I find the behavioral changes caused by brain damage fascinating. When people have a brain-related problem, the solution can be complicated, and that's why I want to help them and be a part of the solution.

My vision is totally compatible with this master programme. I’ve always given an equal importance to my academic and personal development. I never stopped learning. My area of focus and interest varies from quantitative analysis to clinical research with project management, which also helped me to build leadership and team building qualities. I believe my academic background, knowledge and experiences have provided me with the credentials needed to thrive in this master programme not only as a successful student but also an outstanding neuropsychologist.

I am confident that with my personality, my qualifications and pursuits, I will be able to make a significant and positive contribution in the field of neuropsychology.
