Need to start a new phase of my life

My name is Russel. I am 32 years old.

I have health problems that keep me from holding a job. There have been a lot of changes in my life over the last 2 years of my life. My marriage ended after my wife cheated. Following that, I went through a lot of anxiety and stress that exacerbated my health problems. I lost my job, my home, and my time with my kids (the time went from having them 5 days out of the week to visiting them whenever I can at my ex-wife's house). Trying to find work and make money through other means, instead put me deep in debt (basically living with just a box of clothes, most of which are getting worn out, I do not know exactly how much. None of it is credit card debt and I don't think any of it has interest building, but I know it is somewhere around $10,000).

I'm currently living in some nice peoples garage, but bordering on homelessness. They are retired and on disability. They can't afford to feed me, but absolutely refuse to let me starve and order me to eat at least once every couple days. They want me to find somewhere else to stay because they don't want "to find me frozen/dead in their garage".

I don't know what to do.

Pay off my debt and hope I find work soon?

Try opening a business?

my perfect scenario would be to have my own business fixing and building computers. I would work the hours I am able and not have to be worried about missing work and losing my job. I could pay off my debts and pay the people that helped me when they had no reason to and expected nothing in return.

Willing to give any additional information requested and take any advise. It would actually be quite appreciated.
