My story is simple. I am ambitious but education in America is commercialized. I am an international student who came to the USA to pursue a masters degree in Information Technology. Mortgaged my house for bank loan, used up all my savings and made it here with a perfect plan with enough finances. But here is what happened. To maintain my international student status, I must and should take up 2 on campus courses every semester. The MSIT Program as per my Course Planning guide requires me to complete 33 credits (each course 3 credit) including the Capstone. But out of the 11 courses in a full-time degree, 5 are offered only online (both in Spring, Fall. Not offered in Summer). That leaves me with 6 courses that I can take on campus. I have taken 2 on campus courses in Fall 2016, 2 in Spring 2017. Now, they say that if I do not take 2 on campus courses in Fall 2017, I will have to leave the country for violation of my visa status. My college wants me to take up any other course as an alternative because they don't offer the courses on campus for my degree!!
In any of the cases, I am asked to take an extra course that is financially affordable for me right now.
I just need enough money to take that one course so that I can stay here and complete my degree. I am grateful to anyone who offers help.
