Short and sweet. I have a lifelong condition and it's getting difficult to manage. I'm 27 years old, and I've been diagnosed with degenerative disc disease and spinal stenosis causing sciatica around a decade back. Basically, my back is bad and my legs don't work very well.
Doctors have told me that lifting a measly ten pounds or more puts me at risk to herniate or break a disc, which will require extensive surgery to give a temporary fix.
Treatment is very expensive and requires regular injections into my vertebrae. I haven't been able to afford them for several years.
I'm currently unable to work, and am in the process of fighting the government for either insurance or some form of living assistance to afford the procedure.
My family is loving, but caring for my needs is putting unnecessary strain on an already financially stretched home.
Any and all donations will improve my quality of life substantially. Injections dull the pain from screaming to minor agony, which is welcome. It allows for more than three or four hours of sleep a night.
I'm unfortunately unable to offer any rewards for donating, as I currently am owner to absolutely nothing and have had $0 income for many years.
Thank you for reading and considering.
