Need help with my late mother’s outstanding hospital bill payment

30 days back, when my mother traveled back from Pakistan, we had no idea these would be her last few days with us. She had breathing issues when she returned with body shivering, soon enough she was taken in emergency and was diagnosed with “E-Coli” a rare bacterial virus due to which her lung collapsed and she was in ICU immediately. 6 days fighting in ICU with breathing issues and dropping blood pressure she was critical, 7h day onwards her saturation level was dropping continuously to a level where there was no return and so we were forced to put her on the ventilator. Keeping the tiniest hopes high, we prayed for her return. Every day she fought with new different issues like breathing, blood pressure, collapsed lung and soon her transplanted kidney also failed. At this stage, her body was too weak for dialysis but being the fighter she was, she even took that. But God had a different plan, her condition deteriorated each day and she had internal bleeding where a doctor injected external blood but it was of no use with the high amount of blood loss happening. In her last few days, she had excessive bleeding from the brain, intestine, nose and mouth. After bravely fighting for 19 days, we got a call from the doctor that she has her last few hours and we can stay inside ICU to be with her. Our mother, our strength took her last breath in Infront of us, leaving us without talking or seeing us for the last time and we were helpless.

After losing her we didn’t even get enough time to mourn as we had a huge amount of bill on our head. The bill came out to be AED 469K, even after paying a huge amount and trying to get few discounts the outstanding bill is AED 215K. We have only one earning source which is not enough to cater to this amount and we have sold all family assets that we could. If somebody is willing to come forward and help, it would mean the world to us!
