Need help to start a small business

Hi, I am Tony here. I am looking for help to start a small business as I have been out for job for 2 years.

I used to be a Senior Engineer in my previous company and was retrenched 2 years ago. However, once you are over 40 years old, you will have difficulty to find a job in Singapore. In that 2 years, I had gone for a few interviews and even though with my years of experience in this field, my job searching is still unsuccessful. I even lower my expectation, to apply for junior engineer position, but the employer feel that I am over qualified.

I did not give up and take up all sort of part time and temporary jobs that are available because I know that I am responsible to put food on the table for my family. I am driving private hire for a living now and have totally given up hope of finding a new job. I have take up courses on how to start a small business and hope that I can put it into use.
