My name is Kerry and I am in need of your help.
About myself, I was once a closeted retail worker, but life was quite content when I still had a roof with my family and while I can focus working towards saving money for my own MTF reassignment surgery. I had no fame nor wealth, just simple life with my accepting family.

Until the year 2014 when my Dad passed on due to stroke, followed by my Mom who also passed away on 2015 due to heart failure. Since then I am struggling with depression, and stuck with a huge mortgage debt they left behind. Not to mention the old house I am living in had fell in a terrible shape and in need to immediate repair. No one is willing to buy or rent the home and I am in, I can't dispose it at a reasonable price. Auction and bankruptcy could be the worst case scenario.

In short I am having major financial setbacks to my goals and it's hard for me to see an end to all these with less than $250 monthly income. Life is like existing without living it. I had no one in my immediate network for help. So I am asking for your help with 3 goals in mind to get this all sorted. My type of fundraising is a composite of a few problematic faucets I wish to address. The overall plan is to raise $40,000 and here is how it is being used:

1st Priority) $30,000 for settling the mortgage and some of the remaining goes to buying building materials to repair my home. I need it to get rid of a chronic termite infestation that is damaging the internal wiring in the home. As long as the house is restored to good shape and livable condition, I can rent the rooms out for passive income, as well as focus on improving my home business workspace. It is using money to make money so it would help tremendously to have a self-sustained life. It is money being used to generate extra passive income.

2nd Priority) $10,000 is for the MTF reassignment surgery in Thailand inclusive of recovery care. This surgery is important to my personal health and it means a lot to me. I had been on hormones for 6 years now, but the side effect of hormones can affect my liver and kidney on a longer term dependency. However if I stopped taking them I will revert back and suffer gender dysphoria. The surgery itself can remove the source of androgen and testosterone, so I can stop relying on the medicines to stay in my transitioned state permanently. My savings were all gone due to settling a sum of the mortgage first and paying legal fees to my lawyers. Even if I had the money for surgery, I will still use it to settle the mortgage, as I can't be at peace not working and worrying about debt during my recovery phase.

There isn't much to look forward to in my home country. I had lived here in solitude long enough. I wish to move out of this financial limbo, and migrate out of this country as well. I am dating someone across the world in the US. I wish to settle all this so I can afford to travel and unite with him to start a life together. Being transgender in Malaysia, our legal rights to work, insurance healthcare and marriage equality are unrecognized, not to mention it is an uphill battle through court to get our gender marker changed. In order for this fundraiser campaign to go on without any legal identity verification issues, I am also using my deadname.

Any amount will help, but for those who are willing to donate more I had some rewards ready to give. Considered as a way to support a personal business and startup. You can redeem the same amount of rewards equivalent to the amount given. Eg: $150 = 4 piece of accessories. I also do custom graphic design for merchandise, which I will also include as part of additional redeemable rewards and by request. Thank you.
