Need help Painting and Furnishing of Our New Orphanage

Realize A Dream- Africa: Our mission is to help provide Medical assistance, Education, Clean Water and Food, Homes for the homeless, and Promoting Health through Good sanitation practices to help sustain life and help Realize the Dreams of the African. Africa is not short of labour but financial assistance is a different matter. Our Volunteer programmes and projects since 2011 has helped provide Homes, Good Drinking Water, Education and Medical Assistance to many people in and around the region. Currently we have 147 students in Lume, Volta Region of Ghana amongst which 43 are orphans and have no homes, we receive at least 2 orphans every month.

Construction of a new 12 bedrooms Orphanage block began in September 2014, to accommodate the increasing number of Orphans we are receiving. As at June 1, 2015 the project is almost 90% complete. We need funding to help us complete the interior Painting and Furnishing (Bedroom doors, Lighting, Bedding Accessories) of the Orphanage block so we can transfer our kids from the old Orphanage block (which also serves as the Nursery Classroom) into the new one. A total of $3,500 is needed to complete our project. The exterior of the block has already been painted; we received a few buckets of paints and Louvre frames from a local donor.

If the entire Goal of $3,500 is not achieved, we will make good use with the amount we will raise, as it will be better to have a few mattresses than none.
