Need Help Getting to Best Friend’s Wedding

My best friend, Steven, is getting married in Lake Tahoe on September 15, 2012. While he chose his little brother to be his best man, I consider us just that, Brothers. As it stands now, I will be stuck in Houston, Texas on his big day, and force him to replace me in the bridal party. Steven has been in the Army for the better part of three years now, and since then we may have only seen eachother a total of six days. Two years ago I joined the Army as well, in hopes that we could be stationed together, however due to a severe knee injury, I was discharged. It's taken more than a year and a half for the pain to leave me, and thus left me unable to work. Currently, the plane ticket alone will run me $500 dollars, and the Tux rental $150. 

Honestly, anything will help, and will be greatly appreciated. So please, please, please help me make this day great for his sake.
