Just recently, I noticed a bulge around my neck area, and when I had it checked with an ENT doctor, she said it was Nasopharyngeal carcinoma (also known as NPC) which is a rare tumor of the head and neck area which originates in the nasopharynx part of the body. She then referred me to the oncologist.
The Oncologist said it is an aggressive type of cancer and could spread to other areas of the body if not treated right away. Similar to other cancers, it is a race of time. I am confident that with other's help, I should be able to live through this and also help my fellow patients who have the same condition as mine.
