My country Malaysia is in dire straits when it comes charities raising funds. You probably heard of the 1MDB fiasco that has put a strain on the country's treasury.
Non-Governmental Organisations (NGO) in Malaysia now have less donations and charitable contributions since the Government has arranged the taxes in such a way that in the simple man-on-the-street has less spare change to spend. The roadside blind man even has to charge more for a pack of pocket tissue and less people are willing to buy from him.
They say charity begins at home.
I have a Vision to hold Annual Concerts in name of charity but I am not working now. But that said, holding the said concert takes up to one year in preparation. If I was working, I would not have the time and energy to concentrate on creating the said Concert.
All I am asking for is enough monies to tide me over for 12 to 14 months while I make thousands of phone calls and rush to my meetings in a taxi cab. I also need something for my meals (you can Google Search Kentucky Fried Chicken Malaysia to find out how much a Snack Plate cost).
