PLEASE HELP MY MOTHER UNDERGO BRAIN TUMOR SURGERY

My mother is our beacon of light, the definition of resilience, hard work, and everlasting love. And we'll do anything to extend her life, and see her vibrant smiles again. I am John Paul Quilation Dagondong, 27 years old, from Calamba City, Laguna, Philippines, knocking on your hearts to assist our family and help our mother, Mary Ann Quilaton-Dagondong, undergo brain tumor surgery.

Last November 7, 2022, we rushed her to the hospital because she was feeling dizzy she couldn't stand. The CT scan revealed that she suffered an onset of stroke, and days later, a subsequent MRI procedure showed she has a brain tumor, near the brainstem. A secondary diagnosis also revealed she has non-communicating hydrocephalus.

This marked the last piece of a 2-year puzzle we've been trying to solve. In 2020, my mom felt static noise in her left ear, but she ignored it, thinking it was manageable. Her gait and balance were also unstable but all of us had thought it was because she lacked sleep.

Now that her condition is already right in front of our eyes, we need to address it effectively and quickly. Time is of the essence, and there's no way of telling when this tumor will cause even more damage. We were discharged from the previous hospital last November 12 because we could not support the increasing bills caused by our prolonged stay, and the doctors told us it was better to transfer her to a public hospital.

A new battle begins. In the new hospital where our mother will be taken, they require us to purchase all medical supplies and medicines needed in order for her to be considered for surgery schedule. I did some research on the prices of all the things needed, and roughly we need around 70,000 pesos or $1,200.00.

Please help our family get through this trial. Our father died this year, and as the only employed member of the family, working on a contractual basis, I cannot handle everything on my own. Please help us. Any amount is a huge help to extend our mother's life.
