Need-Based Queensland Uni Trip

Hi everyone! My name is Affaan Khan and I am currently living in Perth. I am currently a third year full-time student who is studying a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering. The mode of learning is online, since this works out to be the cheapest way to get a degree. However, not all the content can be taught via distance (ie. online), and I still have to visit the university 1-2 times a year for laboratories and oral presentations (called "Compulsory On-Campus Classes"). Thus, I humbly come onto GoGetFunding in the hope of receiving a scholarship/bursary/financial assistance to pay for part of the costs of my airfare and accomodation (the cheapest shared hostels - no hotels) whilst there.

Almost all (+-95%) the money I earn is going towards paying my university fees (I don't drink/party or go out with friends to places such as clubs, movies, etc --> the +-5% difference goes towards various accredited charity organisations).

Attending this compulsory lab class college will help get that much closer to completing my degree in engineering, which will allow me to provide a better future for my family than I could provide without any tertiary education.  It is with a humble heart that I'm asking you to please consider helping me pay for this.

I require no minimum donation (ie. any amount would be tremendously helpful), as every little bit helps and will certainly go a long way to help an aspiring individual. What I can offer in return is my eternal gratitude, and the warm fuzzy feeling you'll get from knowing you've helped a motivated and aspiring young individual complete their third (or four) years in their engineering course.
