Good day!
I am Marvin Rivera, 44. Last August 26, 2018, I was rushed to the emergency room of Ospital ng Malabon for chest pains radiating through my left arm. I was released the same night when my Serology result came negative for Troponin I. But the pain keeps coming back every time I walk for about 30-50 meters or do small activities like taking a bath. So I went to the Our Lady of Fatima Hospital for another check-up where after undergoing ECG and 2D echo, I was told to go to the Philippine Heart Center to have an angiogram and possible angioplasty. I had an angiogram on September 18, 2018 and after the procedure, I was advised instead to have a Coronary Artery Heart Bypass as angioplasty will not be possible.
The procedure will cost PhP600,000 to PhP800,000.
Although I have a health card as a benefit from my current work, I have already consumed the allotted coverage from the previous medical procedures. Currently I am processing documents to avail of the Philhealth Z-Benefits which could knock off up to PhP500,000 off of the medical costs of the CABG operation “if approved” but will still need to pay the remaining amount upon admission at the Philippine Heart Center for the surgery.
I have been on leave from my work since August 27, 2018 and additional medical laboratory requirements has eaten up on my family’s daily budget.
With these, I come knocking on your kind heart for assistance as our family go through these trying times. Financial assistance can be sent through the details below.
Salamat po.
