need a car

I am in great need of a new car, (new to me). one van on it's last tire, four people trying to get to work school and doctor's appointments. Always something coming up, insurance, new roof, personal loss. We are hard working middle lower class, just trying to make ends meet anyway we can. No mass transit out here, cabs are too expensive. We would really appreciate any all help you are willing to give us. My husband is on disability due to diabetes. He wears a pump , and has several other medical problems from the diabetes.
