Naynay on road to recovery :)

Please help, we are urgently raising money for emergency medical care for 'Naynay' - Teresita Payawal.

Her family invited her here in Singapore so she can spend time with her grandchildren, especially her newest grandson.

She was perfectly well until last Thursday when she suddenly experienced a bad headache. My friends initially thought that it was just a normal headache, same with what old folks normally experience. As the occurence was quite common, her family has decided to check her condition first and see if her usual medication will suffice, and if not, they will take her to the nearest hospital.

Came Friday morning, and everything turned out fine. Naynay was back on her feet (or so they thought) until late afternoon when her headache came back even worse, causing her to vomit almost uncontrollably.

At that point, they have decided to take her to the nearest hospital. They thought Naynay will be easily discharged after some routine check ups, but little did they know that water and blood clotting already developed in her brain area.

Naynay was admitted straight away in the hospital, and was immediately placed in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Soon after, a tube was placed in her head to remove the water that was found.

The doctors have placed her on a round-the-clock observation, and was put in the respirator.

Sadly, she is now unable to recognize any of her relatives. Devastated, her family wants to bring her home to the Philippines, but the doctors won't allow it until her condition has been stabilized. The doctors will schedule the surgery based on her development but the date is yet to be fixed, and the hospital expenses have already piled up. While Singapore has first class medical service, it is unfortunately not the best place to fall sick in as the costs are extremely high. Without an insurance, her family are now struggling with the medical bills.

We are humbly asking for your financial support to help us with her medical expenses, especially in the coming days. May we also ask for your prayer for her speedy recovery, our faith remains steadfast that the Lord will see us through this.

Hello everyone! As of last night, Naynay became concious and a little responsive. The tube was removed from her head and the doctor mentioned that she can be transferred to the ward from the ICU anytime soon. However, she is still under observation as the lump in her brain area. . . . .
