Natz’s Road to Recovery

Hi everyone, I have created this fundraiser for my mom, Natz Antonio, who recently suffered a stroke.

In August of 2021, my mom was found unconscious by her sister and was unable to wake up for a few minutes despite her sister frantically trying to wake her up. When she did, her speech started to slur and she can't recognize anymore thus calling me to rush her to the nearest hospital. Unfortunately, hospitals nearby
are in full capacity and unable to accommodate her; we had no choice but to travel several km from Rizal to Philippine Heart Center which added agony to her current state.

We were discharged after 11 days but continuous treatment is required for the next 3 months. This is crucial as the first three months after a stroke is the most important phase for recovery and this is when patients will see the most improvement.

Physical, Occupational, and Speech therapy are needed and best if will be held at home due to Covid and my mom being unvaccinated. Also, prescribed medications include "Neuroaid" which costs P8,350 (Senior Discounted) for 10 days and was advised to take for the next 3 months.

This unforeseen circumstance exceedingly affected us and as an only child and living per paycheck, these additional expenses are way beyond my means. I know that most of us are striving financially this time of the pandemic but I am humbly requesting your kindness and generosity to help my family during this difficult time.
