Nature’s backup

We are young, aspiring 3d specialists, photographers, cinematographers with the goal of nature preservation.

As you all probably experience yourself, the world is changing fast. Kids no longer play outside, healthy life is a struggle, and mother earth is being destroyed every day.

Our goal with the "Nature's backup project" is to try and preserve nature in a unique and innovative way . Also to point out the importance of coexistence with nature.

Every day we backup our mobile's data , pc data, worksheets etc., but has anyone ever stopped to consider to backup that which surrounds us ?

What about nature, why wouldn't we backup nature ? Preserve all that was and all that will be via aerial photogrammery, photography and cinematography.

But we need your help here. The best method to preserve is aerial photogrammetry. It enables us to scout and "3d scan" any location, and preserve data that can be used to create and backup a complete 3d model of the location, fully 360 viewable, even 3d printable and shareable. An unique experience to be shared all over the world as a piece of information, to raise awareness and help preserve.

This project is for the benefit of the entire world, we are hoping to start something global here. The idea is also to create a web that would store all the gathered photo/video/3d data of preserved locations and monumens. A last chance of a digital backup of a world being destroyed, for our childern's sake.

We have allready started with this project, but in this case we would need a professional drone that is capable of taking high res images that would be later used in the photogrammetry process, or as a photo/video backup. That's why we need your help. Everyhting involving this project is self funded, from our own pocket's, non profit, so we need your help to obtain a professional drone to move forward.

To elaborate a bit more: Photogrammetry is a process of creating 3d models from a line of images, simmillar to 3d scaning. It enables us to capture all the real life details of a location and store it before it's destroyed or lost. This information can than be used by future technology and our kids to restore what was once lost , or at least thought to be lost.

It is our hope to encourage people to spend more time with nature, go hiking, spend some time outdoors, regain your health, to live and experience this greatness that surrounds us. Share your experience, hang out, love, live, take your kids out, go for a walk, jump, run, swim, enjoy life, help them enjoy, be responsible, be humble.
