I’m asking for help to fund my line of oils called Browns Beauty Secrets. I make them according to what the client needs and currently have 3 strengths. Mild - for those with sensitive scalps or for children; Normal and Extra Strength - for those that like the tingle of the scalp which can be refreshing. Being that this is such a passion of mine, I’d love to be able to make a living by JUST doing hair to provide for my family. I'm looking to brand my oils and trademark the name, create labels, information cards, and would like to create an online store once I have enough product.
I’ve had a love for doing hair ever since I can remember. It all started when I was about 5, playing with my Barbie’s, cutting and styling their hair, and when I was 9 I received a mannequin head with real human hair that I really enjoyed. My hair fell out when I was a young child and that fed my passion with hair even more. What was once a hobby, has turned into a passion that I now want to pursue as a profession. I have completed the health and sanitation course required to be a hair braider here in Minnesota. While I'm currently building my client book, I've also created my own blend of hair and skin oils made with organic and natural oils.

Satisfied client PaviElle French- MN
"I have had my hair done by Adrienne several times and I will continue to go back to her because of her professionalism, her eye for style and her expertise. She has always gone above and beyond as a stylist even, meeting me at the actual hair shop to assist me in choosing the right products for my hair. She is very thorough and actually cares about the people she works with. Also, her line of oils and moisturizers are top notch in every way from the organic ingredient base to the essential oils used. I would most definitely recommend Adrienne Brown for your hair care needs as she is at the top of my list for hair braiders in the Twin Cities."

"I went to Adrienne for box braids a few weeks ago and my hair still looks amazing. She was very professional, no having to worry about finding crumbs in my hair becuase she was eating and braiding at the same time. She stayed focus on the task at hand and had me out of there in a timely fashion. I would definitely recommend Adrienne to anyone looking for a stylist."

Here is what is called "Crochet Braids". Hair is attached to your own braided hair by latch-hook. I completed this style myself.

"Adrienne is professional and my hair experience with her was phenomenal. I got the Senegalese Twist and it took 9 ½ packs of Kanekalon hair. The service took about 10 hours. Once done, my head was TIGHT as hell and it took at least two days for it loosen up. However, I’m pleased and ready to put my hair in many cute styles. It was my first time getting my hair done by her and it was a great experience. I'll definitely be a returning customer. Thanks Adrienne!"

For some, maintaining their natural hair is a chore. For me it’s exciting and fun and I don’t look at it as a job. I hope to establish my own hair braiding studio, as well as having multiple locations. I have big dreams and I have the ambition to keep this going. Anything you can help me with will be deeply appreciated.
