Natalie’s Degree & Community Event

Hello! 

WHY?

Firstly, thank you for hitting the page! You are here because I am fundraising to help complete my degree 

WHAT?

As part of my final degree in Event Management, I am hosting a charity event within a team of students.  The event is: Rox in the Park presents Evolution and will take place on Saturday 9th May 2015.  It is, or rather will be, an amazing community event themed around science, light and music. It aims to inspire, educate and entertain guests around this theme and will present:

• LIVE BANDS
• SILENT DISCO
• MOVIE TENT 
• NOSTALGIA DEN 
• DANCE WORKSHOPS
• CAMERA OBSCURA
• ZORBING
• CHILDREN'S CRAFT ACTIVITIES 
• CRAFT STALLS
• DELICIOUS FOOD THROUGHOUT

WHERE WILL THE MONEY GO?

However, the snag is...we have been given zero funding or assistance in funding the project where costs exceed £3,000.  Now, this isn't because we 're not being smart in 'bargain sourcing'. £3,000  is the cost of the bare essentials such as: rubbish disposal, security, St. John's ambulance, marquees, transport, technical & power expertise and requirements. Further to this, due to it being a charity event, which whilst raising funds also provides an amazing event to a community, we are unable to charge the public for entry.  

I am managing the project and all the production elements, in place of the dreaded dissertation; but this project is eqaully big if not bigger!! However, without funding, the event cannot take place, therefore I am reaching out to you, to donate anything that you can (starting from £1) in order help me complete my degree  which I have been working hard towards for the last 3 years.
