NanNan’s 9 Little Hearts- Living with Dementia

This beautiful, strong, caring & loving "Nan Nan" aka Hine, Was Born and raised in Northland NZ and moved to live in Australia in 1992

She was diagnosed over 2 years ago (late 2014) with dementia and had to return home to NZ to have 24 hr care

Whilst in Australia she had been a heaven sent full time nanna to her many granchildren and great granchildren while their parents worked.

Here are the youngest 9 grandchildren who still reside in Australia, and have not seen her since 2014 but had her in their lives 24/7 pratically from the day they were born, before she left on what was supposed to be a holiday and never was able to say goodbye - 3 of whom she has never met.

The 4 oldest, have very strong memories of their nan looking after them and many memories of the fun times they had and have constantly asked where she is and when can they see her again.

We are well aware she is not the same energetic woman she was when she left here as her dementia progressed really fast in the last 3 years- she no longer can walk or speak or communicate well but her emotions of tears, and smiles when she sees their photos say it all, but we know it will mean alot to these 9 children to just to see, kiss and hug their Nanna one last time as her life is nearing to the end.

And for their parents to also take back to her what was by far her best possesions in life 'her mokos (granchildren). She loved and cared for them with great discipline and a soft heart like all nannas do.

So if you please can help out financially with bringing together to help fund these 9 hearts and their families to fly and see her it will be with great love appreciated.

Funds will be going towards passport process, flights and the other financial expenses to get these families children to her as soon as possible

Her 9 Grandchildren reside in Australia - 5 grandchildren whom live in Hoppers Crossing, West Melbourne and 4 in Leeton NSW

UPDATED: As of 28/11/17 this family have been told by her medical team they only have day/s if lucky as she is deteriating fast.
